Laura Patsko

Laura Patsko is a pedagogy researcher and teacher trainer, currently based in the UK, and specializes in the use of English as lingua franca (ELF), pronunciation teaching and the practical applications of linguistic research. She has written numerous articles and two forthcoming book chapters on pronunciation and ELF, and presents frequently at international conferences and training events on these topics (PDFs and videos available at laurapatsko.wordpress.com). She co-authors a blog with Katy Simpson about pronunciation for ELF at elfpron.wordpress.com, which aims to bridge the gap between research and the classroom. She sub-edits Speak Out!, the journal of the IATEFL Pronunciation Special Interest Group, and tweets as @lauraahaha.
